Programme Management
We design and deliver transformation programmes for large and mid-sized companies who may be executing a new strategy, improving performance, implementing a new way of working or transitioning to a new organisational structure.
Our programme leads are veterans of delivery in line roles as well as in consulting, and blend with internal teams so that implementation is delivered from within, driving results that stick. We work with teams to design the overall programme, structuring workstreams, project charters, and the overall masterplan including timelines, milestones, workstream interfaces, and governance. We can kick start programmes and then hand over to internal teams or support clients over a longer horizon to deliver the full programme, resourcing this flexibly and creatively as required, often leading the programme office and a number of complex workstreams.

Working inclusively across a global staff of 2,000, we supported the client to understand the drivers of decline and develop a plan to reverse the slide, uplifting productivity and ultimately retaining more staff. Focused on the key processes of workflow and people management, we developed a comprehensive change programme now underway.
Efficiency improvement in building materials trading
Supported a building materials trading company to restructure a failing back office efficiency programme, delivering savings ahead of target.
Our restructured programme unlocked blockages by sequencing three consecutive streams, to first centralise functions, then harmonise and optimise processes, and finally automate manual process steps. The programme is on target to deliver 20-40% FTE reductions across finance departments, with our continued support.
Implementing the Agile transition for a European insurer
Led an Agile transformation for a European insurer, releasing significant cost savings and a step-change in customer and market responsiveness.
This ambitious new organisation drastically delayered the business and fundamentally redrew team structures. We set up the PMO and workstreams, worked with teams to detail the design and the implementation, and coached the workstreams beyond ‘day one’, fine-tuning governance and unblocking obstacles to delivery.

As PMO leads we recruited the teams to lead the transition, led key workstreams, and consolidated across them. Our teams developed and rolled out detailed BU, regional and operational designs, and the supporting systems and processes, driving successful transition to the new organisation.
